This is where you will find updates for the week or for upcoming events. Each student needs to read the updates so they know what is going on.

Here is the first email about the trip to Galveston.At this time, everyone that is going on the trip, should have paid their $35 deposit. I made the deposit from that money to the condos that we are staying at. The name of the condos is at the bottom of this email. Important info:1. All money paid will cover all the essentials of the trip (meals, lodging, fun) - Spending money will be needed for souvenirs and snacks. Also the hotel makes you pay for beach chairs and cabanas if wanted. That is not necessary. 2. The total cost of the trip $200. Again, this money covers everything essential for the trip.3. The money for the trip is due by March 1. If you paid $35 for the deposit, then you owe $165. 4. Fundraising has begun! Sell those booklets to help with the cost of the trip. If you sell over the amount needed for the trip, you may use money raised for spending money.5. School rules and dress code apply to all school trips. Swim Suits of a tasteful nature are required. Shorts of a proper length are required for anytime we are out in public, away from the beach.  All dress code issues will be handled by Mr. Estes. If you don't want me questioning it, then don't wear anything inappropriate.6. I will update with other things as we get closer to the trip dates.The itinerary for the trip is below. It is tentative but very close to the plans for the trip.Friday, April 2711 am - Leave Jim Ned for Galveston - We will stop when necessary for bathroom breaks and meals. We will also stop for groceries. All meals except one are prepared in the rooms.6 -7 ish pm - Arrive at the condo. Check in. 11 pm or when the hotel requires - Bed check. Curfews will be strictly followed.Saturday, April 28 - Enjoy the beach. Eat when you need to. You have groceries.4 pm - Clean up for our trip to the Kemah Boardwalk. 5 pm - Leave for the boardwalk. I will give you between $40-$50 for meal money and fun stuff. You will need more than that to enjoy all the boardwalk has to offer. Go online and look!10 pm - Load up and go back to the condo and stay in your room. Bed Check!Sunday, April 29Enjoy the beach all day!Monday, April 30Pack up and load the buses to go home by noon.8ish pm - Arrive back in Tuscola. Tuesday - 8:25 am - Go to School!!
